I've already alerted Action Fraud, but this individual keeps pestering me, ringing my mobile phone at least twice daily.

Got a call from an Asian guy at about 8.37 this morning. He was talking so quickly I couldn’t catch anything he said. I just ended the call straight away. Figured it was probably another spam call, like the usual ones I get.

What a shocker! I received a call from some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting I grab a pen and paper because apparently my computer is under threat of hacking. I told him I don’t possess either!
It makes me wonder how he got hold of my number in the first place. My landline is registered with the Telephone Preference Service!
Honestly, it’s quite concerning to think about elderly folks who might fall for such dreadful scams.

I've been receiving loads of calls from this number, usually someone with an Asian accent or sometimes a woman, just like many others have said. I reckon it's pretty risky, so I gave it a dangerous rating. The number is from Staines but I just ignore it now. When I do answer, I tell them they're scammers and they normally hang up right away. I wish there was a place where you could report these sorts of calls properly so they could be investigated and those scammers or hackers could end up getting prosecuted and sent to jail.

Someone called me saying they were Eric Jones from Microsoft. He claimed my computer was hacked overnight. When I mentioned I have security measures that would prevent that, he just cut the call. I looked up his name later - his accent was kind of American but with a bit of an Asian tone, which seemed off.

Some numpty rang me at 8:03 this morning, but they've been pestering me for weeks now. I've ignored their calls, naturally. It's clearly a scam-most credible transactions are done through apps these days. The moment you respond, they start rattling off your last fifty transactions or whatever nonsense they can muster. I reckon it's worth reporting to the police; this is harassment and essentially phone stalking. And please, if you see a number you don't recognise, do yourself a favour and don't bother answering, and for goodness’ sake, don’t let them leave a message either, as that's just another way for them to infiltrate your smartphone. Just block the blighter!
