Me: "Good day, who am I speaking with?"
Peter: "(that's what he said) Hi there, it's Peter from Claims Direct."
Me: "Might I inquire how you obtained my number?"
Peter: "This is Peter from Claims Direct."
Me: "I didn’t ask for your name, I’m simply curious about where you sourced my number."
Peter: "P*** off!"
And just like that, he ended the call. What a cheeky response! 😂 Looks like someone’s not quite cut out for the sales game! 😂

I got a call from an adult Asian man saying he was from some PPI firm and that I’d been granted a payout of £6,500. He asked me to confirm my address and wanted my bank card details so he could move the money over to my account. I told him straight away that this was rubbish and clearly an attempt to scam me out of my info then just hung up. It was quite unsettling but I spotted the scam right away, though I reckon plenty of others might fall for it.

Got a few calls from this number. Finally picked up and a lady with an Indian accent claimed she was from a financial firm handling my Life Insurance. She asked my age, and I told her, "If you really had my life insurance, you’d know how old I am." She went quiet and just said "Sorry?" I repeated it, then she just said "Alright" and hung up. Definitely a scam!

First, a bloke named Kevin rang me, then a second time a guy called Sam with what sounded like an Indian accent gave me a bell saying he was from the Financial Advice Bureau. I ended up blocking the second caller after he just hung up - definitely wasn’t up for a proper chat.
