Got a call from Advantis about a Sky bill I never owed! Sky claimed I was £100 in debt for some kit I supposedly didn’t send back. They didn’t give me any chance to explain and just handed my details over to a debt collector straight away. I keep getting calls from this number, ringing me around five times daily, and they always leave voicemails. They're insisting they need to discuss some business issue with me. Is there a proper authority I can contact to report this relentless harassment?

I received a call from this number today. The caller claimed to represent a client, yet they couldn't disclose any specifics about who that might be. They asked me to identify myself, which I found rather amusing - if he’s calling on behalf of someone, he should already know who he’s talking to! I suggested he share my details first since he had them right in front of him. His response? He couldn’t do that, citing data protection laws. Rather unsurprisingly, I refused to divulge any of my information or engage in conversation any further. Seems like a complete con to me! I strongly advise against responding to calls from this number.

They told me to check their website or ring a number. The website looks legit to trick you, but the calls aren't. They've rung a few times from numbers that are just a bit different. Advantis Credit calling again, total credit scam! They wanna trick you into paying some old debt that’s past the limit. They ring daily with some automated voice saying “We need to contact you about a business issue.” I’ve never dealt with these lot, no clue who they are. Checked online and they’re just another dodgy debt collector scam. Just block and delete their number. Heads up as well, they change the number slightly to dodge blocks.
