Somebody rang me saying they were from BT, telling me hackers were messing with my broadband. They said they’d already contacted BT saying I’d lost my password, then I got a text with a one-time PIN from a BT-like number, but it looked computer-generated. I checked with BT myself and apparently this is a regular scam now to trick people into thinking it’s BT.
