When the person on the phone kept messing up my name and just called me 'ma’am', I instantly knew it was probably some kind of scam!

Around 2pm on 10/6/22, I got a call from 01782253692. The line was really crackly and I couldn’t make out what the lady was saying - sounded like she had an Asian accent. I just ended the call. I’m based in Wiltshire, so maybe this scam is going round the UK now?

Got a robo call telling me £79.99 will be charged to my Amazon account unless I hit 1 to speak to some manager? Yeah right, good luck with that since I don’t even have Amazon Prime or anything!
