I got a call from someone claiming to be from a company named Crown, and you could hear the busy background like a call centre. Without wasting time, I asked them to take my number off their list. The person on the other end suddenly got really rude and his attitude shifted, saying I wasn’t paying attention to what he was saying. I told him again to remove me, but he just got more annoyed, ended up yelling at me, and then just cut the call.

This number keeps popping up saying it’s for Verex or something. Heard nothing but silence or dead air all 4 times they rang me in just 2 days, so I just blocked it now. Too sketchy for me.

Got a call from someone claiming they were providing free hearing tests for folks in loud workplaces. Definitely not legit, just trying to scam people!

They started off with "Based on our info... yadda yadda yadda" and then went on about handling noisy equipment. I made it clear I didn’t want them ringing me back.

It really came across like one of those call centres, with loads of laughter in the background, yet no one actually talking on the phone.

I keep gettin calls every day from different Preston numbers, such a pain! I'll just block them all, but then there's always another one poppin up. Proper annoying!

Got a recorded robo call again, just more annoying spam as usual.

Got a call from this number multiple times but no one ever talked when I answered. Later checked my call history and saw there was a call lasting about a minute but totally silent.

So I just blocked them.

Got a call saying my internet will be cut off for a day while they check for some illegal stuff, and asked me to press 1. Sounds dodgy to me!
