This morning, I received a call from a well-spoken gentleman with an Asian accent, who wanted to discuss my home security. I wasn’t willing to disclose any personal information! It definitely had the ring of a scam to me!

I was just sitting there by the landline when it buzzed, but I didn’t pick up. Right after my voicemail finished, the phone stopped ringing and there was no message left. Since the number looked unfamiliar and seeing what others have said, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it and wiped it off my phone.

To my surprise, she sharply retorted that it was a call from my doctor and promptly ended the conversation. Maybe she mistook 'cold' as something related to an illness?
