On the 6th of June 2022, I got a recorded call saying my bank noticed a couple of dodgy transactions and asked me to press 1 if I knew about them or 2 to chat with someone. The message was quite believable, but it’s a classic scam. Funny thing is, the phone number shows up as a fax line for some tyre repair place in Preston, Lancashire.
