Got a call supposedly from Google about my business listing. They mentioned my name as the billing contact, then started pushing a QR code service that would cost over £300 plus VAT on top of what I usually pay. I asked who exactly the payment goes to, and they said Link SEO, claiming it's an annual fee. When they asked for my email, I told them I’ve been with this company for over seven years and, as the one handling the bills, I’ve never come across that email or paid anything like that. Right after that, they just hung up on me.
