I received a rather odd call regarding my business listing from Google. They mentioned my name as a reference for a bill and then tried to sell me a QR code for an extra cost, saying it would be over £300 plus VAT. Naturally, I inquired about who exactly I’d be paying, and she told me it was for Link SEO, which, apparently, is an annual fee. When she asked for my email, I pointed out that having been here for over seven years, she should already have that information given that I’m the one who handles the bills. To top it off, I’d never even heard of this charge before. She abruptly hung up on me after that! Quite strange, don’t you think?

We nearly fell victim to a scam where they attempted to swindle us out of £300 for a Google business listing, which we handle independently. I strongly advise against sending any funds to this number!
