I received a call earlier today from a company called "Think Worm" about my loft insulation. The caller wanted to speak directly to the homeowner and offered to carry out a brief, complimentary survey on the insulation. I must say, I found the call rather intrusive!

They never told me who they were. All I gathered was something to do with my electricity meter. They started asking really personal stuff. Promised to send something in the post but never did. Honestly, I’m pretty annoyed with the whole thing.

Got a call out the blue from Stay Warm Energy about a free energy check at home. They were a bit insistent, and I ended up agreeing to have someone come round. After looking into it a bit more, I changed my mind. I tracked down their website and sent a message through their contact page to cancel. They got back to me pretty quickly to confirm the cancellation.
