over the past 48 hours, ive gotten this call thrice claiming to be amazon prime. its a complete scam, so dont get fooled. the callers keep saying my amazon prime membership will be billed 39.99 (they never say if it’s pounds or dollars) straight from my bank unless i hit "1" to chat with an account manager. i reckon hitting "1" likely puts you through to a premium rate phone line and youll get charged loads every minute. luckily, i never pressed anything, so i dont actually know for sure.
