The caller ID displayed it as being from Sainsbury's in Slough when they attempted to reach me. I've since blocked the number after coming across more information on a different site. I generally don’t pick up calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my contacts and let them go to voicemail. If they can’t be bothered to leave a message, then tough luck! When I tried ringing the number back, I was greeted with a garbled automated voice claiming to be a telemarketing firm. Their name was completely indecipherable, so clearly, it's not Sainsbury's. They wanted me to provide my email address and personal details to be taken off their list. Yeah, right! As if I’d hand over my personal info to complete strangers! Not a chance!

Some dodgy caller had all our info but tried to get more to access the account, luckily I stopped her quick. She claimed to be from Bulb Energy, saying our installation appointment was cancelled and gave us a new date. I rang Bulb Energy myself and they said their numbers always start with 0300 and have an extension, so it was a scam and quite dangerous. I just got a call from 01753 804600 - some bloke knew my full name and said he was from E.ON, telling me I’d ordered a new boiler. Total rubbish - never made any order like that. Definitely a dodgy scam attempt.

Pretended to be someone else, kept asking about what I’m gonna do in the future which they really should know if they were legit. Seems like a scam to me, said they were from some phone service company or whatever, but they’ve got zero reason to be calling me, so they shouldn’t be contacting me at all under GDPR rules.

Yep, this number belongs to Teleperformance. In case anyone's unsure, they handle calls on behalf of major companies, so the call could be about anything unless you’ve got some kind of business with them. They’re pretty harmless though, nothing to worry about.

they're one of those big overseas companies that handle complaints for places like Co-op, Sainsburys and others who just dont wanna hear what youve got to say. they basically just chuck some cash on your store card instead of actually sorting out the issue - personal service? not a chance.

I didn’t pick up the phone, but looking at the info here, it makes sense that Sainsbury’s was ringing me. I left a message on their website’s contact page just yesterday. I thought if they were going to get back to me, it’d be through email, but maybe these big stores are switching it up with phone calls to add a more “personal” feel and keep us coming back!

Got a call claiming to be from GTR about a refund for a train ticket I supposedly asked for, saying it was accepted and asking for my credit card info. Thing is, I never asked for any refund.
