On Tuesday, 28th February 2023 around 2:15pm GMT, I got a call from the number 01745 564245. An automated voice claimed to be from BT and warned about some suspicious activity on my bank account. It asked me to press a button, maybe 3, to be connected to someone from their team. I didn’t press anything and just hung up. No voicemail was left, so I couldn’t verify any details. It’s awful how these people prey on elderly folks, they really should be tracked down and dealt with properly.

Got a call from someone pretending to be my bank about some fake charges on my debit card. It’s definitely a scam. Don’t ever hit 1 or 2 if you get a call like this, it’s risky!
