I'm getting calls from this number almost every day on my mobile. I’ve blocked it, but it still keeps trying to ring through. If it’s not a real number, why don’t the phone providers just stop the calls before they reach us? It’s really frustrating.

### ### This number keeps ringing me nonstop. The few times I picked up it was just spam - my internet provider isn’t BT, so no way it’d be them phoning me. I’ve blocked the number but the calls keep coming every day. You’d think the phone companies could stop these spam calls before they even reach us, especially when they’re faking numbers that don’t even exist!

I get about a couple of calls daily from them threatening to cut off my internet. It's really annoying!

Got a call from a recorded voice saying something about my phone and internet being about to get cut off, supposedly forwarded by BT. It started with "To avoid disconnection..." but I didn't wait to hear more and just ended the call. They've buzzed me three times in just a couple of hours now.

Got a call from a 01739 ### number saying my internet's gonna be disconnected in a few hours because of some illegal stuff. Total rubbish! The first call had no number shown, then they rang back from that one. Watch out for these scammers!

I kept getting calls from 01739983861, and it was always some robotic voice claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying they'd just taken money from my bank. Definitely felt like a scam, just an automated message.

This number 01739 ### rings me almost daily, sometimes as much as 6 times a day. They pretend to be from Amazon, thanking me for a payment of £###.### which I never made. I always just hang up straight away cos I know it's dodgy - why would Amazon call to say thanks for a payment? If I let the call go on, I reckon they'd try to get my bank info to 'refund' this fake payment and scam me out of even more cash. Best just to disconnect immediately. Does anyone know how to block this number?

Today, I got a call on my home phone from a lady with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from BT. She told me there was a virus affecting our broadband. Funny enough, I actually have BT broadband and it had been out all night. I mentioned I’d just had Hive heating set up, so that might explain the issues, but she couldn’t follow me and ended the call abruptly. Later on, I found out there were internet outages in our area last night, so maybe she was aware of that or just taking a wild guess? Either way, it makes me furious that people still pull these scams 🤬 Just hope she didn’t manage to fool anyone else.

Got a call from an Indian bloke with a pretty thick accent, kept saying he was gonna come over to fix my BT broadband. I told him straight up that I don’t even have BT broadband, then just hung up.

Just got a ring from 01739 ###, some guy with an Indian accent calling himself Peter, said he was from Talk Talk. Could barely catch what he was saying but it had something to do with my internet. That 01739 code doesn’t even exist. Total scam if you ask me. I told him he was full of it and ended the call.

Got a call from 01739 ### claiming to be from my internet supplier, but I ended the call straight away. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls like this pretending to be from TalkTalk, which we’re not even customers of, so I just put the phone down. All the voices sounded like they were from India.

It's really annoying, especially when you're in your 70s and might trip trying to answer the phone. I don’t get why Ofcom isn’t doing more to stop all these constant calls. They happen way too often!
