I got a call from 01793 512635 earlier today.

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number every single day on my mobile. I've gone ahead and blocked it, yet I keep noticing that they're still trying to get through. If it’s not a legitimate number, wouldn’t it make sense for the telecom companies to intercept these at the source? It’s quite baffling!

I've been inundated with calls from this number, and when I finally picked up, it turned out to be a rubbish spam call. Just to clarify, I’m not even with BT, so I don't know why they’d be ringing my mobile! I've added this number to my blocked list, yet the calls persist every day without fail.

Isn't it high time the telecom providers sorted out this mess and tackled the spam calls at their origin, particularly those that are masquerading as fake numbers? It's quite infuriating!

I'm being bombarded with a couple of calls every day, all from someone insisting they're about to disconnect my Internet.

I received a rather dodgy automated call earlier. It began with a message claiming something along the lines of 'you’ve been contacted by BT regarding the impending disconnection of your internet and phone services.' They didn’t even finish their spiel before I decided to cut the call short. Strangely, they’ve tried reaching me three times in just a couple of hours!

I received a call from 01739 ### claiming that my internet would be terminated in ###/### hours because of some supposed unlawful activity. What utter nonsense! The initial call came from a private number, and then they followed up with this one. Just a heads up to everyone - stay alert!

I received a call from 01739 ###, with someone posing as a representative from BT Openreach. They were probing for details about our broadband service. However, as soon as I questioned their legitimacy, they abruptly hung up. Quite the dodgy tactic, if you ask me!

I kept getting calls from 01739983861, and it was always some robotic voice claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying they'd just taken money from my bank. Definitely felt like a scam, just an automated message.

I keep receiving calls from 01739 ### almost daily, sometimes as many as six times a day! They claim to be from Amazon, supposedly expressing gratitude for a payment of £###.###. I always end the call without hesitation since I recognise it's a scam; Amazon wouldn't call to thank anyone for a payment. I dread to think that if I lingered on the line, they'd probably end up trying to get my bank account details to refund a payment I’ve never even made, attempting to cheat me out of even more cash. For goodness' sake, just hang up and don't engage! Does anyone know how to block this number effectively?

Received a rather peculiar call on my home phone earlier today from a lady sporting a pronounced Indian accent. She claimed to represent BT and informed me that our broadband connection was compromised by a virus. Funny enough, I've indeed got a BT broadband service, and it had been down throughout the night. Coincidentally, I'd just had Hive heating installed that same day, so I attempted to explain this might be linked to the issue. Unfortunately, she couldn’t quite grasp what I was saying and promptly ended the conversation. Later on, I discovered that our local area had been experiencing internet difficulties during the night - perhaps she was fishing for information or it was merely a strange coincidence; who can say? It's infuriating to think that individuals can still get away with these types of calls! 🤬

I just received a phone call from the number 01739 ###. The chap on the other end had an Indian accent and claimed to be called Peter, supposedly representing Talk Talk. Honestly, I struggled to make sense of what he was saying, but it seemed to be related to my internet connection. The thing is, that area code 01739 doesn’t even exist! It was clearly a scam. I told him outright that he was being dishonest and ended the call without further ado.

I received a call from 01739 ### claiming to be my 'internet service provider'. I promptly ended the call as I've had a spate of similar calls lately - particularly from people pretending to be from TalkTalk, which is amusing since I don’t even use them!
