This was totally a scam, they wanted me to let them change settings on my router which has absolutely nothing to do with TalkTalk’s servers. I just hung up straight away, but not before telling them to go find a real job instead of trying to con honest folks!

The moment someone claims to be from TalkTalk, I just say they're not and end the call straight away. TalkTalk never rings you up out of the blue like that. Don't fall for it, it's a total scam.

the number says it’s from talk talk and they told me my internet got cut off for a few weeks cause apparently i’m connected to google or something like that. honestly, I wouldn’t trust it at all. best thing to do is just contact talk talk directly yourself and give them a heads up about it.

Got a call from a supposed TalkTalk number telling me there was an issue with my broadband. Felt fishy, like one of those scams where they try to get into your computer remotely. I just ended the call straightaway.
