I got a call from a woman with a really thick Indian accent, and the phone line was awful. She claimed to be from Sky, saying there’s a problem with “the internet” linked to my address. I told her I’m not a Sky customer, so why is she even calling me? Instead of answering, she started rattling off a load of technical jargon that made no sense. Then she asked me to check my router’s lights. I told her since I’m not with Sky, there’s no way I’m sharing info about my setup, and she cut me off straight away. Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone who might fall for this scam.
