So, this number showed up from Manchester first, but then the call got switched and I ended up talking to a woman from India. I wasn’t in the mood to mess about with whatever nonsense they wanted, so I just started speaking to her in a different language I know well. She kept trying to ask me stuff, but I guess she quickly saw it was a waste of time and just hung up.

For a few months now, I've been getting these calls occasionally, maybe once or twice monthly. But today, I received two calls back to back; one caller claimed to be from a taxi company, the other said they were from the RTA claims team. Neither of those sorts of organisations would ever cold call like that, which I told them, and they hung up straight away. I tried to sign up with TPS using a website link I found online, but the site warned it wasn’t secure and there was no padlock icon in the URL, so I didn’t go any further. Does anyone know a safer way to register?

Got a call from 01728 139274 and some automated female voice mentioned something about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. I don’t even drive, so totally fishy. Sounds like a scam to me.
