Got a call from this number around 6 in the evening on 25/6/20, but I didn't pick up. I checked it here afterwards and found out it's been flagged as a spam or scam caller since 2019, looks like they're still at it.

Got a call from this number saying they were from IP and that my internet was involved in some sort of illegal stuff! Felt really suspicious to me.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, saying he was calling on behalf of some company I didn’t catch. He asked if he could verify my contact info and started reading out my number. I said yeah but didn’t confirm the proper digits, then he just ended the call.

Received a call from a chap who said he was with some sort of company, though I couldn't quite make out which one. He was after verifying my contact information. When he rattled off my phone number, I confirmed it but flatly declined to provide him with the right details. In the end, he just hung up on me. Got a call from a place called 'Assist Today', sounded like someone from India. They said they just had a few questions to ask but swore they weren't selling anything. I was pretty sure it was a sales pitch, so I refused to share any details. Oddly, he insisted he wasn't asking for info. After telling them again to take my number off their list, the call just ended. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone called Brian, speaking with a strong Indian accent. He said he had a few quick questions for me, but as soon as I told him to take me off their call list, he just ended the call immediately.

They called and specifically asked for me by name. When I tried to find out what it was about, they just ended the call. I swear I heard a call centre buzzing in the background - maybe they were cross-referencing the names with the numbers?

I got a call from someone overseas who knew my name and said she was ringing from Assist Today. She wanted to ask me three questions, starting with whether I read newspapers, then if I own my home. When I asked why she was calling, she just hung up. I looked up 'Assist Today' and it seems they’re some sort of market research company ([#]assisttodaymarketingsurvey[###]). I’m glad I blocked that number!

What a annoying pest this caller is, just spouting nonsense. Maybe if folks gave them a right good telling off, they'd learn to stop being so daft - or at least get better at making calls without bothering everyone.

I wasn’t home when they rang, and since they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail, I’m guessing it was some sort of scam or just a cold call. Proper businesses usually make the effort to drop a message.

I received a rather bothersome call from someone trying to rope me into completing a brief survey. The blighter mumbled the name of his company so quickly that I barely caught a syllable. When I informed him that such calls were against the law, given that we're signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, he seemed taken aback, apologised, and promptly hung up.

The first time they rang, they didn’t leave a message. When they tried again, I picked up and it turned out to be a telemarketer. I informed him that his call was against the rules since we're on the TPS list. I promptly ended the call.
