I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Openreach, stating that my internet usage had exceeded the limit, and that I would be cut off within the next day or two. The thing is, Openreach isn’t even my broadband provider-how on earth would they be able to disconnect me? I attempted to return the call, but it turns out that this number doesn’t accept incoming calls. They also used a mobile number, 07447947784, for the same spiel. Seems like a classic case of spam to me!
