Got a call today from someone called ‘John’ about windows and doors. This same number has bugged me five times already, and it definitely picks up when you talk. I always hang up after a quick chat, but eventually I called back, ignored the hold music and told them to remove me from their calling list. ‘John’ reckons I’m the homeowner - totally not true! He doesn’t know me at all!

They rang me talking about loft insulation being put in - which definitely wasn’t the case! I just hung up straight away.

Can’t say I know who that was, totally clueless on that number.

Some bloke called, said he was Tom and was getting back to me about some roof insulation I’d supposedly asked for. I told him I hadn’t rang anyone about it and then, just like that, he ended the call without even saying sorry. Seems like a total scam to me.
