Many users describe receiving multiple calls shortly after cancelling contracts, often with no message left. Some callers mention that when they answer, calls are disconnected or hung up, causing further frustration. I switched from Vodafone and asked for my PAC code on Saturday. They’re well aware they can’t better the offer I got, so I’m not bothering with them or trying to get in touch anymore.

Ended my mobile broadband contract last night, made it clear I wasn’t interested in staying on. Yet, I’ve already got two calls from this number today. Had to block it now.

Ended my contract after being a loyal customer for years. I was simply after an iPhone 7 at the price advertised online (about £26), but the best they’d give me was £42. Too little, too late to try and get me to stay.

Same as most people, I ended my contract yesterday and got a PAC code. I missed their call but definitely won’t be picking up if they try again.

Just like a bunch of folks on here, I stopped using Vodaphone, bout a day and a half ago. I’d already spent a good bit of time yapping with their call centre, telling them why I was ditching them, so they had all the details. Anyway, I’ve gone and blocked the number now.

Had the exact same thing happen to me. Told Vodafone this week I’m leaving and asked for my PAC code, now they’re all about offering a better contract. A bit too late for that now.

This call was from Vodafone. I rang them yesterday to get the code to switch my number 'cause their upgrade deals weren’t great. Today, they offered me a Galaxy S10 with 25GB data and Spotify for £37.10 a month plus £64 upfront. Just yesterday, their best deal was £48 a month, £99 upfront and no Spotify included. Definitely worth pushing for a better offer, people!

Just like loads of others, I told VF I’m done with them since they can’t give me a proper deal for sticking around, so I switched to a different provider. Won’t bother picking up calls from this number, already wasted 20 minutes yesterday chatting with them trying to sort a decent offer.

Proper glad I didn't pick up this call. I told Vodafone just yesterday that I was leaving since their deal was rubbish, and they had my number if they wanted to chat. Got the PAC code today, and within a few hours they're already ringing me. Too late now, I'm switching to another provider - saving over £200 in two years, getting more data and a nicer phone.

Didn't pick up earlier, but I've learnt my lesson and won't be answering if they ring back. Just like loads of others, I ended my Vodafone deals today and switched to a provider with better options, the phone I actually want, and way cheaper prices.

Had a call from Vodafone too, and I just ended my contract yesterday. Strange how all these others say they’ve left as well, then suddenly get calls from them - think they wanna sweeten the deal? Nah, they can keep it, I’m switching providers. Didn’t pick up the phone, and when I tried ringing back they said they'll call me again later. Well, now I’m definitely ignoring them next time.

Like many others here, I recently gave Vodafone my notice and got a PAC code to switch to a new provider who, by the way, are charging us about £56 less per month for even better service. Vodafone had us on 6GB shared across 2 phones, but the new company gives 5GB each! Feels like we've been getting mugged off for years. Now Vodafone suddenly wants to chase us? Also, we had a shocking experience at one of their stores a while back when trying to renew our contract. They said the plan we had was no longer available, but when we pointed out it was, the staff got really rude and defensive!

Out of the blue, Vodafone’s sales lot seem to think I’m important now. My contract ended ages ago and I was being overcharged badly. Now that I try to cancel, their sales folks keep ringing non stop. Bit late for that, Vodafone, should’ve looked after a longtime customer like me better!

Vodafone rang me yesterday about my PAC, and then today they were on about staying with an early upgrade after 6 months and giving me 40% off any new contract. It’s no use when I’ve struggled to get more than one bar of signal all year. I’m moving over to O2 today. Their coverage is way better.

I avoided picking up this number since I've been targeted by identity theft recently. It began with random calls from strange numbers, then they asked for my PAC code. After that, they managed to hijack my phone number, reset my passwords, and switch my email addresses, then racked up over £10,000 on credit cards. I’d recommend changing your phone number, and never relying on 2FA through your phone because it’s not secure. Instead, use something like Google Authenticator or Authy - much safer in my experience.

Switched from Vodafone to another company and moved my number over. Since then, I've been getting calls like 3 to 4 times daily, and whenever I pick up, they just hang up straight away. I tried calling them back but was only met with a recorded message checking if I'm alright and telling me to ring a different number for an advisor. Ended up blocking the number in the end.

What a crazy coincidence! Just this morning Vodafone finally sent me my PAC code after loads of calls from them, but every time I picked up, the caller just hung up. Turns out I’ve been paying way too much on an old contract, and the “great deal” they tried to sell me is actually pricier than even a new contract elsewhere. Honestly, switching to a different provider will save you heaps. Definitely shop around and keep an eye out for these numbers.

They’ve been ringing me loads of times over the last few days ever since I asked for my PAC code and told them I wouldn’t be sticking with Vodaphone. Picked up once and the call just cut out. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This number from Rotherham rang me twice today but I didn’t pick up. Coincidentally, I'd been with Vodafone for over 20 years until recently, when I switched to a new provider after my phone got lost or maybe nicked. Had to try three times to get my PAC code, and they made me order a new SIM with a Huawei phone, which actually arrived earlier today. I’m not a fan of being pushed around, so I said goodbye to Vodafone! The number porting went through this morning, just before those two missed calls came in!

I didn’t pick up but they’ve called me a couple times today. I requested my PAC code a couple days ago to switch to a cheaper provider, so I reckon it was probably them.

This isn’t a Vodafone number! Got a call today asking why I wanted my PAC code! Then they just rudely cut me off without asking any security questions! Felt fishy, so I rang Vodafone to verify if the call was genuine. Turns out, it’s completely fake - they even copied Vodafone’s voicemail but it’s not connected to them at all! Looks like they were trying to scam info out of me, but thankfully I didn’t give them a thing.

Just got a call from Vodafone.

Vodafone. Have had the same number with them for 21 years. Last year they started billing me twice for the same contract, managed to get some of the money back but not everything. Requested my PAC code a couple days ago and now they’re making it difficult. Fine, that’s it, goodbye Vodafone.

Pretty sure this was Vodafone. I asked for a PAC code just a couple of hours before missing this call. I've blocked the number now since I recall getting loads of calls every day once my old contracts ended.

Yup, Vodafone alright - I had a chat online yesterday trying to figure out how to get my PAC code, and guess what, suddenly someone from retention is giving me a ring!
Vodafone

Yeah it’s Vodafone, but if you’re planning to switch because of cost, give them a ring again. They matched a price that the cancellation team wouldn’t budge on and saved me the hassle of signing up with a new provider.

No clue who that was. Didn’t leave any message. Like lots of others have said, as soon as you hang up you get loads of offers. I managed to drop my BT bill from about 20 to 5. Had the same thing with Sky before, was paying near 80 and they dropped it to 11 when I was leaving. I then asked for 12 months at 69 and said I'd stay, but they couldn't care less.

Yeah I’m with others saying it’s Vodafone. I ended my contract and got my PAC code a couple days ago and then this number rings me at work. Just my luck. I’ve already switched providers so it’s all a bit pointless now.

Strangely, I asked for a PAC code just yesterday from Vodafone! What a coincidence. They didn’t even leave a voicemail. Shame their Retentions lot couldn’t offer me a better deal, might have stuck around otherwise.

Same here. I asked for my PAC code and ended up getting two calls on this number within a day. They couldn’t match the deal I was already switching to, so I’m not sure what their game is! When you ring them back, they just say it’s Vodafone and you don’t need to get in touch. Bit pointless really.

I’ve had pretty much the same thing happen like others have said here. I got my PAC code to switch networks coz there’s no signal for calls at my place and this number has rung me 3 times in the past day, so I’m guessing it’s Vodafone. Just like a few people mentioned, I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers and they never bother to leave a voicemail.

01709 918614: Just the same here. I sorted out my PAC codes yesterday and Vodafone phoned me three times today. I’ve been with them for over two decades, and yet this year they upped my tariff right in the middle of my contract. Totally not on!

Looks like Vodafone calling, but I only just got a new deal with a different provider like 5 days ago. When I visited the shop, they told me the plan I wanted with the phone I picked would be £45 a month. Got the exact same phone and a deal almost identical somewhere else for £23. Now they’re saying that offer can be had for £21. Bit too late for that now!

Lol, looks like it’s Vodafone alright. Really appreciate all the replies, they were properly helpful. Kinda funny how they know I’m bout to switch off. Got asked for my Pac code earlier today and now this number pops up. So fed up with terrible signal and paying a fortune for a service that’s been rubbish for over 15 years.

Vodafone. I asked to cancel my contract and get a PAC code yesterday. I've told them loads of times that I want out but now they’re just going to bother me for the next 30 days until it finishes. They've been added to my blocked numbers.

Totally agree with what others have said, this seems like Vodafone to me too. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. Just ended my Vodafone contract today and got my PAC code, but only after some “retentions” agent went on a bit of a lecture in an online chat like I was a kid.

Today lunchtime I managed to get my PAC code from Vodafone, and just a couple of hours later they started ringing me up on this number.

I didn't get to answer the call, but judging by what others have said, I guess it was Vodafone. I had asked for a PAC code a couple of days ago because I’m switching away from them.

I managed to get my PAC code from the Carphone Warehouse shop. Just a heads up though - when you're chatting with Vodafone over the phone, be mindful. They apparently stay on the line and listen even when they’re "checking info" on your account. I was speaking with the shop staff nearby, and when Vodafone came back on the line, they quoted bits of my chat with them, which felt pretty shady. Definitely not the kind of customer care I’d expect. Really pleased I switched providers in the end.

I’ve had two calls from this number and both times, as soon as I answered, the caller just hung up. Got my PAC code from Vodafone today too, so seems to line up with what others are saying.

From what I can see in the messages, I reckon it’s Vodafone. I asked them for my PAC and they just handed it over, no faff about trying to keep me as a customer or anything. Honestly, bless them for that because their reception is absolutely dreadful where I am.

I saw this number called me earlier today but I couldn’t answer. Looking through the comments here, I’m guessing it was Vodafone trying to get hold of me. I actually rang them yesterday to cancel my contract and they gave me a PAC code, so it kind of makes sense.

Just like many others, I asked Vodafone for my PAC code since I'm switching providers, and after that, these calls began pouring in. I haven't bothered to pick up because I only answer if the number's saved in my phone.

yesterday i tried to get my pac code from vodafone like loads of others but honestly their support is so bad it’s just frustrating!

I’m so relieved I didn’t pick up when Vodafone rang earlier today. I rang them last night asking for my PAC code because I’m leaving their service. Spent over two hours on their online chat, asked for my PAC code about a dozen times, yet never got a straight answer. Instead, they kept pressuring me, pushing expensive plans that are way pricier than what other providers offer. Proper frustrating!

Yesterday I asked Vodafone for a PAC code. Honestly, their charges are way higher than other providers. It's pretty shocking how much more expensive they are!

Oh, Vodafone... not shocked after reading all these reviews. I asked for my PAC code and got a call from them in like three hours. Luckily, I didn’t pick up! They claimed their online internet numbers don’t have any customer service, which is rubbish. I told them paying an extra £10 a month was pointless when I’ve only rang them twice in two years!

I ended my contract with Vodafone after one of their sales reps tried to freak me out, claiming my phone was about to break since it’s already 2 years old and insisting I had to buy a new one from them. Their outdated sales methods lost them a customer for good, especially since I found a far better deal elsewhere. Honestly, their customer service seems really lacking for such a major company. They’ve tried ringing me a few times since, but what do they not understand?

A few days back, they asked me for my PAC code but I never even picked up the phone. Not shocked though. Vodafone clearly don't get it - if I spot a better bargain, I'm off. They didn't even try to match what others were offering.

I usually only pick up numbers saved in my phone, so I ignored the call. After seeing some other comments, I asked for my PAC code around 1:30pm today - Vodafone tried to convince me to stay a few times. Then, I got this call at about 4:35pm.

Just got a ring from this number. After reading some of the earlier comments, I’m guessing it’s because I switched from Vodafone to a cheaper provider and gave them my PAC code. Looks like they’re not too pleased about it. Oh well, not my problem!

A couple of days back I asked for my PAC code and just after that, this number popped up as a missed call. After reading the other comments, I realised it’s Vodafone calling. Phew, I’m relieved I didn’t answer! Switching providers has already cut my bill in half!
