Other Numbers
A chap called me claiming to be from Vodafone, mentioning that I was eligible for an early upgrade (which I am). However, I had my reservations, so I decided to contact Vodafone myself. To my surprise, they informed me that this particular number doesn't appear in their records and is likely a scam. They also mentioned that the last activity on my account was a good nine weeks ago when I adjusted my direct debit date. It’s quite perplexing though, as the fellow on the phone seemed quite credible. How on earth did he know I was a Vodafone customer and that I was nearing the end of my contract?
