Noticed a call from the number ending 331 today, and I was a bit cautious. Told them I don’t share personal details on the phone and said I’ll get back to them later. Just to be sure, I looked it up on Vodafone’s website and found this list of numbers they use. So if you’re unsure about a call, you can always ring them back. They might be from the Sales Team wanting to tell you about new products or services. I got in touch with Vodafone to find out more, and it turns out they’re legit. The calls come from a firm called Webel TSC, which is actually part of Vodafone’s loyalty department. I know some folks find the calls irritating, but for me it wasn’t bad at all - I ended up getting a really good upgrade offer.

They kept ringing me loads during the day trying to get hold of my partner, never calling in the evening when he's home. They claimed to be from Vodafone. I told the bloke to stop calling me, but he got really nasty and said he'd just keep ringing until he spoke to my partner. I ended up reporting it to Vodafone, and thankfully they were great about it and blocked the number. I'd recommend doing the same if you're getting calls like this - it's definitely a scam.

Before looking up this number online, I rang it back and found out it was some sort of Vodafone affiliate. There was an automated message asking me to press 1 if I wanted my number taken off their list. I did this, and it said they’d sorted it. If they keep ringing though, I’m definitely reporting them to the TPS. For anyone else dealing with constant nuisance calls like this, you can sign up with the TPS - there’s info on the OFCOM website. When marketing companies ignore your preference, you can report them and they might get fined. Since I registered, the number of marketing calls I get has really dropped.

My daughter suggested I look up the number online, so I did a quick search and this website was one of the top results. I’m really happy I checked it out because now I realise it’s a scam call.
