I just had a chat with Vodafone by calling 191, you know, because my 13-year-old lad received a call from this number. They informed me that it’s not actually one of their numbers. I got in touch with Vodafone to find out more, and it turns out they’re legit. The calls come from a firm called Webel TSC, which is actually part of Vodafone’s loyalty department. I know some folks find the calls irritating, but for me it wasn’t bad at all - I ended up getting a really good upgrade offer.

I've been inundated with calls from this number throughout the day, all while my partner is at work. They refuse to call after hours. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone, and despite my insistence that he stop calling me, he was rather brusque and confrontational, insisting he wouldn't cease his barrage until he managed to get through to my partner. I reported the matter to Vodafone, and thankfully, they were incredibly supportive and swiftly blocked the number. I highly recommend you do the same if you find yourself in a similar situation!

I went ahead and did just that, and it confirmed the action was successful. If these calls persist, I won’t hesitate to escalate the matter to the TPS. This registration helps you take action against telemarketers-should they continue to pester you, you can file a report, and they may face penalties.
