When I called back armed with the reference number, they asked for my date of birth, address, and mobile number. I proposed that if they could first confirm some details, I could verify whether it was indeed me they were after. However, they wouldn’t proceed without the information they requested. I also asked them to take my friend’s business number off their list, and the lady assured me that she would. Strangely enough, they claimed to have sent multiple letters to my address, yet I haven’t seen a single one at either my home or my friend's company.
