This number called my daughter’s phone, not mine, even tho I told them mine’s the main contact lol. Checked the comments and looks like it’s Vodafone. I’ve already cancelled one line on my account, the others will go when I'm ready. Been with Vodafone since PAYG started and been on contract for 14 years but they don’t seem to care about loyal customers when it comes to upgrades. They tried to get me to confirm my identity with a PIN, which I refused. Then they asked for my postcode and date of birth, again I said no. They couldn’t give me any info from my account to prove who they really were. I’m not saying they're definitely scammers or the company is dodgy, but honestly, the whole convo seemed like a perfect setup for a scam. It feels like we’re forced to jump through hoops to get a decent deal. Vodafone Retentions tried to call me after I’d already switched providers. The person sounded like they were trying to be helpful, asking if there was anything they could do to fix things. Really pleased I checked this site and found out it was Vodafone. I’ve been with them over 15 years and when I said I wanted to leave, they didn’t even bother trying to keep me. Even the customer service manager acted like they didn’t care. Then as soon as I asked for my PAC code, they decided to call me back! Quite poor showing from them, honestly!

I agree with someone else here, they really should have given me a better offer before. I've been with them on two phone contracts for about 10 years now, and thinking of switching to Three.

Honestly, they’ve been pretty rubbish since I switched to them, so I’m glad I’m moving back to EE. Despite saying I wasn’t interested, they keep ringing me several times daily. Vodafone rang me, and I think they were trying to stop me leaving by promising a deal that turned out nowhere near as good as they said. Spent like two and a half hours chatting to about four different agents and got nowhere in the end. I’m done and switching over to Giffgaff.
