Even tho this shows as a vodafone number, it might just be a fake one. I answered out of curiosity after reading others comments since I’m with vodafone too. They didn’t ask for any ID and couldn’t provide any info about my phone or billing. If this were legit, they’d have my account details and be able to answer simple stuff. It’s Vodafone again, calling to pitch their latest iPhone. Happens like clockwork around this time every year. They tweak the number just slightly so blocking one doesn’t stop the calls coming from others. Try picking up once and ask to be removed from their list, or say the person who pays the bill has moved away and switched networks.

I can confirm that this phone number belongs to Vodafone and is entirely valid. I did a verification through their official site's "is it Vodafone calling?" feature. Upon entering the number, it indicated, “This is a genuine Vodafone number; we’re reaching out regarding Small Business matters.” After returning the call, I discovered it connects to the upgrades division. My upgrade process has been successfully finalised, and I've now got my new phone in hand. There’s nothing dodgy here, although I did notice a surge in call volume, for which they’ve apologised. Thankfully, I haven't received any further calls since then.

I received a rather unpleasant call from someone with a Yorkshire accent who was purporting to be from Vodafone. They claimed they wanted to confirm whether I was still in my contract and if I needed an upgrade. However, they had my name slightly incorrect, which immediately raised my suspicions. When I expressed that I found the conversation a bit questionable and suggested I’d prefer to visit a store to sort this out-having dealt with dodgy calls in the past-the bloke got rather irate and abruptly disconnected the call. It just doesn’t seem likely that an actual Vodafone representative would behave in such a manner. His sulky reaction when I turned down his “security checks” was definitely another red flag. I would advise blocking this number, and if you’re uncertain, definitely pop into your nearest Vodafone shop for clarity.

Some bloke called saying he was Shaun from Vodafone, working remotely with the "Retention Outbound Team". He tried to sell me a couple of decent Vodafone deals. I rang 191 and asked for the Outbound Retention Team but got stuck on hold for more than 15 minutes, so I just gave up for now. I'll give it another go later and update here once I've spoken to them.

I had a few calls from an unknown number, and after deliberating, I picked up only to find someone on the other end claiming to represent Vodafone. This seemed especially peculiar since I already receive a work discount from Vodafone and they should be aware of my employment status. When I pressed him on his line of questioning, he started to explain what a sole trader was-quite baffling! I chose to hang up and block the number.
