Absolutely an Indian call centre! The background din was so overwhelming that I could hardly make out what the caller was saying. The accent was quite thick, unmistakably Indian.

Some woman said she was calling from Vodafone, could be true or not, told her to buzz off and have a good one. Then I got another call with no one answering. Honestly, Vodafone, sort yourselves out. These calls are coming from all over the place and I’ve already told them to stop harassing me. Now I've blocked the number, but I’m sure it'll be a new one next time.

Just got a call from someone called John, rang from this number. He said something about a company but I couldn’t catch the name. Said I qualified for some free prepaid funeral thing. Then he goes on about how I’m over 60, and I was like, “Who said I’m over 60?” There was a bit of quiet, then I asked, “You still there, John?” and that’s when he hung up. Never asked for my name, which honestly I wouldn’t have told him anyway. Figured I'd share this here so others don’t get scammed or lose money to whatever this is.
