Got a really odd and unprofessional voicemail saying it was from a Halifax branch, but they didn’t mention which one exactly. When I checked the number on my iPhone, it showed Rochdale, which is nowhere close to where I’m based. I didn’t ring back, instead I contacted Halifax’s fraud dept, and they confirmed it was them, trying to chat about savings and investments. So, it wasn’t a scam, just a sales call from the bank that made me worry there might have been some fraud going on.

Yeah, that number is definitely an extension from the Halifax branch out in Rochdale, I've checked it myself.
