PPI Claim Refunds - “Help your claim” Had a couple of calls like this recently, and once I mention I'm just 16 they usually hang up quick and say sorry straight away. But this one bloke said “You don’t sound 16” and asked for my birth year, so I gave him my full dob really fast to prove him wrong. He then got the hint and was like “Oh ok then, I usually catch people out with that, have a good day.” Honestly these lot are daft. Blocked for sure.

I keep getting calls daily from various numbers - this one called me just yesterday. Usually, it’s men on the line, though sometimes women ring as well. They always ask if I’ve received any payout for a car accident claim or if I need help with my debts. Thing is, I haven’t made any claims nor do I owe anyone money. I don’t even own a car here in the UK. I never agreed for my personal info to be used like this and have no idea how they managed to get my name and phone number. It feels like a proper violation - how come they can just take and use your data without any permission or consequences? It’s honestly quite worrying.
