They have rung me 3 times in the past couple of days. The caller ID says Rochdale, but because it starts with +44, I reckon it’s probably some overseas call centre. The ring never lasts long enough for it to go to voicemail. I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so if they don’t leave a message, I just block them. Proper annoying!

Some bloke rang me but refused to say who he was. When I asked which company he was from, he kept being all vague and mumbling. I told him a few times I couldn't hear properly but he just carried on like that. Then he said someone had passed my number to him to find out some info, but when I pressed who it was, he said he couldn't say. I lost my cool and gave him a right earful, swear words and all. Safe to say, I don’t expect any more calls from him.

I received a call today, and despite my repeated attempts to make it clear I wasn't keen, the bloke just wouldn't let up. He kept prattling on about how long I'd held my credit card and the supposed costs involved, completely dismissing my words. In the end, I had no choice but to hang up on him.
