Got a call from some call centre. She knew my name and mentioned something about checking my life insurance. Then started asking personal health stuff. I told her I'd ring my insurance company to find out why they were contacting me and then I just hung up.

No idea who was calling so I just leave calls from unknown numbers unanswered, especially after seeing all these reviews. Another one to add to the block list. I’ve already blocked about a dozen this week and I’m really getting irritated. If it was important, they’d ring me back or I’d call them myself.

I received a rather dodgy call from a bloke with a strong accent who asserted he was ringing from Clear Compare regarding life insurance. He mentioned he was in touch with several well-known firms and rattled off a few names. When I inquired if he was attempting to sell me life insurance, he candidly admitted that he was. I then informed him that cold calling for sales purposes is against the law, and suggested he sounded like a con artist. He didn’t take it well and ended the call rather abruptly.

Gentleman with a strong accent called saying he was from "Clear Compare" about life insurance. He named loads of well-known companies he said he worked with. I asked if he was trying to sell me life insurance, and when he admitted it, I told him what he was doing felt dodgy and probably against the law. He didn’t like that and just ended the call.

This is the second time in two days I've had a suspicious call on my phone. The other one, 01925 393589, was also supposedly pushing some kind of insurance. Didn’t pick up and have blocked this newest one too.

I just let it keep ringing until they gave up. They called my mobile again, which really annoyed me. If you get a call from a number you don’t know, just don't answer. If it’s something important, they’ll leave a voicemail, especially when it’s a mobile.

Got a ring from this number a minute ago. Picked up since I have mates in Southport. An Asian lady said her name was Lorraine and that she was phoning from Aviva. It was one of those life insurance calls. I told the guy to take my number off their list and stop calling but he just kept going on about ‘think about your family, this isn’t about you’. I had to keep telling him to remove my number and quit calling, but he wouldn’t let it go. So frustrating and he just wouldnt accept no.
