After a pause of about five seconds, a lady with a noticeable Indian accent and not-so-fluent English said she was calling from a life insurance firm to check on my policy. Some bloke rang me about life insurance but got the name all wrong. He said his name was Sam Parker and that he was calling for Aviva plus some other insurance companies. When I told him I wasn’t Mr What and asked how to get off their list, he just ended the call straight away.
