I NEVER pick up calls from numbers I don’t know and I won’t start now. If it’s important, they’ll leave a message that makes sense and I can respond to. Honestly, I don’t get why anyone answers unknown numbers, it’s baffling! There’s really no point getting involved with calls from strangers. It’s quite straightforward, not exactly brain surgery!

When I explained why I hung up, just saying I wasn’t interested, the woman on the other end, who had a bad accent, said “I hope you catch Covid and die” and then just hung up on me!
