Loads of calls from all sorts of parts in the UK, but it’s the same question every time - looking for some Mr whoever. The caller’s an Indian woman who keeps asking me that. I’m just an old woman, and this constant bother is really getting on my nerves.

Totally annoying and a bit worrying! I’d already blocked this number before, but now they're just leaving voice messages. It’s some bloke asking if I’m there, saying stuff like "HELLO, HELLO? ARE YOU THERE? CAN YOU PLEASE PICK UP THE PHONE" (like, obviously I’m not there if you hit my voicemail!). He even said my name! The call was apparently super important about something like "Aviva" legal and general, plus AIG. I looked both up, and they’re insurance companies. He even had the nerve to call me "LOVEY" and told me to ring back. No way, not a chance. BLOCKED AND REPORTED.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from some insurance review firm. He said he wanted to talk about my current policy and asked for my age and other details. I fed him some wrong info, but he still said he’d 'found me' somehow. Bit creepy that he seemed to know my address though! When I asked if he could tell me anything about my existing policy, he said he couldn’t, just kept pushing to get me to buy a new one. Felt like a right sales pitch, not genuine help.

Got a call from some automated system, then got passed on to a call centre where they tried pushing life insurance. They claimed they bought my info because I supposedly consented to sharing it. But I never agreed to any marketing calls like that. Really hard to get the guy to stop calling after I told him he was ringing my work line.
