Got a call from someone about an Auk Energy survey the other day. The person on the other end was really slow to start talking, which usually rings alarm bells for me and those scammy calls. It might actually be a genuine survey, but I never answer cold calls anyway.

Got a ring from this number and thought it was someone nearby. They said it was a survey for people who own homes, checking if their place meets the rules. I wasn’t having any of it though and ended the call right away since I didn’t expect it and didn’t want to share anything.

I picked up since the number looked like it was from around here, but the person on the other end just dropped the call without saying anything. When I tried ringing them back, it only played some music and never got through.
