First, there was an automated voice saying there was a £300 charge to Amazon and another one for £1100 to some International Payment service about to go through. Then a real person came on, claiming to be from VISA, saying they wanted to verify these unusual transactions on my debit card. I told them I didn’t recognise any of those payments and wanted to block them. The guy started asking me some security questions but then suddenly the call dropped and they never called me back. I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
