I got a phone call claiming to be from BT, saying my computer system was hacked and that a private connection had been opened up, being accessed by five different groups. The woman on the line even knew my full name and where I lived. We spoke for quite a while, and I tried to stay calm and not give anything away. When I ended the call politely, she rang me straight back, insisting she was just trying to help. After a bit more chat, I thanked her for the warning and hung up. Was this a scam or the real deal? Not sure!
