It was some dodgy life insurance call. Told them to take me off their list, and the bloke goes, ‘I can’t do that unless you tell me if you’ve got life insurance, cos can't promise others won’t ring you up’. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away :)

I received a dodgy phone call today purporting to be from Aviva regarding a life insurance review. The thing is, I’ve no dealings with them whatsoever, so I was curious as to who was on the line. When I confronted the chap, suggesting he was merely trying to swindle folks out of their cash, he shrugged it off with a cheeky "whatever floats your boat, mate," which made me chuckle! 😂

Sounds like a life insurance con. The bloke said he was from different insurance firms and kept calling about my life insurance. When I asked which company I was with he said Legal & General. I told him “That’s not right” and he just cut me off. So, I blocked the number straight away!

I clarified that I was indeed 17. He repeated that, and I confirmed again, only for him to abruptly end the call. Strange experience, really.

Had a bloke called David Potts ring me about life insurance. Told him I couldn’t catch what he was saying properly, and he got all nasty, started calling me gay out of nowhere.
