What a numpty, posing as someone from the life insurance sector! He had my name right and claimed he was there to discuss my policy, but then he had the audacity to ask me if I even had one. When I brought up the Telephone Preference Service, his response was priceless - he hadn’t realised we were on the register because he didn’t know who he was dialling! The silver lining to dealing with these fraudsters is how utterly clueless they usually are.
