I received a call from this number, but they didn't bother to leave any message. I didn't recognise the caller's details at all.

Unfamiliar number. My phone service has flagged it as spam.

The number popped up on my phone labelled as "possible scam," so I decided to give it a miss. They didn't leave any voicemail, which leads me to believe it wasn't anything urgent.

A chap with a pronounced Indian accent contacted me claiming to represent Carphone Warehouse, suggesting I upgrade my phone plan to the latest iPhone. He said it would only cost £20 and included unlimited calls and texts. It seemed like he was reading from a script but struggled to respond when I asked him some questions, which made me a bit suspicious.

I haven't the foggiest who just rang me, nor do I recognise anyone from that region. They hung up the moment it went to my voicemail. No message was left, so I'm inclined to think it was just a cold call or some sort of phone pestering.

I've no idea who that was. They didn’t bother to answer when I called back. Generally, I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Plus, there was no message left on my voicemail, so it’s all rather odd.

Most likely just another pesky spammer on the line.
