I got a call from some so-called UK claims advice group claiming to fight against banks charging too much, and they said they’re supported by the government. Honestly, it set off all my scam alarms straight away. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

Someone rang me saying it was about banks supposedly charging too much and needing to repay money. I wouldn’t give them any of my personal info, as I told them I couldn’t confirm it wasn’t a scam. Oddly enough, they hung up after that.
