I got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from the NHS. He said he wanted to ask about my COVID vaccine experience and how I found NHS services. He never asked for my personal info, just what side effects I had after the jab, whether I'd been given any kind of card or letter as proof of vaccination, and how I'd rate the GP services nearby. At the end, he asked if I had any dental, life, or private health insurance. I answered all of that, then he just said thanks and hung up without any fuss.

Got a call about 1.20 this afternoon from someone with an Indian accent. At first, it seemed legit as they spoke about Covid vaccinations, but then they suddenly switched to asking about my insurance and pushed me for details, which I stupidly handed over. Remember, the NHS or any official body won’t ring you up asking for money or personal financial info like that. I’m now scrambling to block any follow ups, but honestly, it’s a obvious scam just trying to grab your financial info.

The guy on the phone had a thick Indian accent which made me suspicious it might be a scam. There was no proper verification, just straight questions about my vaccination status like "you've had two doses, will you be having the booster?" Which was true, but that’s not hard to figure out. After that, he tried fishing for details about my health and life insurance, saying something about the government giving grants to businesses and worrying that those grants weren’t being shared properly. I refused to give any information, and he just ended the call. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam.

Then they pressed me on how much I pay and when I kept questioning things, they got annoyed and just hung up. Sounds like one of those scammy calls trying to sell cheaper insurance - definitely spam.
