Somebody rang me claiming to be BALA, but the accent didn't sound British-Indian at all, more like something else. The caller kept asking if I was "X," and every time I just said, "Who’s this?" After going round and round with no sense, the bloke suddenly shouted at me, calling me a “F#cking Idiot!” before hanging up in a nasty way. Proper rude and bizarre.

I got a call claiming to be from BALA, but the voice sounded quite faint and definitely not the usual British-Indian accent. The person kept asking if I was "X," and no matter how many times I asked, "who’s this?", they wouldn’t answer properly. After going round in circles with their dull tone, they abruptly shouted something like “You’re a bloody idiot!” and then just hung up on me in a really rude way.

I didn’t think you actually got a certificate, which made me suspicious. Then she started asking if I had any other medical or life insurance, telling me she wasn’t selling anything but just updating NHS records. She kept pressing for my address, like about five times! I told her if she was really from the NHS, they’d already know where I live. After that, I just hung up. Honestly, watch out for these calls - sounds like a dodgy scam to me!
