This morning at 8:36am I got a call even though I'm ex-directory and signed up with TPS. As soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Quite annoying!

Like others have said, this number called me twice today. The first time, it was a woman with a strong Indian accent saying she was from BT, talking about Openreach. I told her straight up she was lying and ended the call. Then, weirdly, they rang me again a couple of hours later.

There was silence for a bit, then a woman’s voice came on just to say “goodbye” - sounded like it was some sort of automated message.

Got a call like this earlier, place sounded really noisy like a call centre or summat. The bloke said he wanted to chat about my internet issues. I asked him for a number he represented, he gave me one that seemed totally legit with no ads or anything. But when I mentioned that it didn’t look right, he just dropped the call. Tried ringing back but guess what? His number was set to block incoming calls. Really dodgy if you ask me.

Got called by some bloke saying he was from BT, telling me there was a fault with my internet. I played along for a while but once he realised I wasn’t buying it, he just ended the call. Definitely sounded like a call centre scam.
