There was this guy on the line with a really strong Indian or Pakistani accent, said his name was Dave. When I asked him what country he was ringing from, he just wouldn’t say and then suddenly cut the call.

I rarely ever pick up my landline but week after week these numbers keep popping up, like this one and 01223 932042. I've got an answering machine that picks up straight away and plays a short automated message, then just cuts off. I just ignore them now and reckon it's some kind of scam.

I never pick up unknown numbers anymore, I just tell them to leave a voicemail and that I’ll ring them back. I also warn that if they don’t leave a message, I’ll label it as spam and block it. Of course, this one decided not to leave anything, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it as likely spam. Pretty annoyed about it 🤬
