Got a call from some debt collectors coz they got given an old number that used to belong to someone who owes money. Some young bloke, sounded like he might be from Manchester, claimed it was a survey for the Met Office about the weather round here. I had a chuckle, then he just bluntly asked about the debtor. Gonna miss these weird calls once we finally get rid of the landline.

Got a call from this number on my phone earlier. It sounded like a call centre, I could hear people chatting in the background but no one actually said anything, just loads of laughter. It was really unsettling coz I was waiting for a call from my family - my granddaughter who has special needs had been missing for 4 hours. Thankfully, she’s safe now. Got a call even tho I'm on the TPS list. The guy sounded really posh and like he’d had his voice changed or something. Said it was about a survey. I told him I don’t do cold calls, especially when I’m watching TDF or whatever, then just ended it. They’re just trying to trick you into giving info. Don’t bother with them.

This number has rung me a couple times over the past few weeks, but whenever I pick up, there’s just silence, though I can hear sounds like an office in the background.
