I got a text out of the blue saying I had to send ID about some chat I’d had about buying a car. I’ve been talking to a car dealer about swapping my car so maybe my info’s been shared somewhere - or it’s just a random thing - but the message is totally dodgy and has nothing to do with that. If it wasn’t for the timing matching up, or if I wasn’t familiar with security from my years in IT, I could’ve easily been tricked.

I've had calls from 01653272045 on my home phone 3 times now, each time they've left 3 voice messages. The recording says the caller's number first then plays 3 seperate messages. You have to clear all the messages otherwise the phone keeps ringing trying to deliver them again. It's really irritating and quite frustrating.

I found the text a bit fishy since there wasn’t much info given. Checked this site and clicked the link which took me to AvailableCar.com but the info there didn’t add up at all. Didn’t bother with it after that. Felt like a pretty rubbish way to handle things. They were asking me to sign something I’d already signed (with the right details). If they need anything else, they’ll have to call and talk to me directly.
