Never picked up and no voicemail either, clearly just another pointless call from some muppets who’ve got nothing better to do than bother folks for no reason.

I just ignored the call and let it go to voicemail, but of course, there was no message left. I'm guessing it's another one of those annoying call centre scams from India - I’ve been getting loads lately. Feels like my number’s been passed around to these time-wasting scammers.

Had a phone call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT, saying someone had been tampering with my internet connection. When I asked for a call-back number, she gave me a BT 0800 number but clearly didn't want me to end the call. She insisted on accessing my computer to “show me something” on the screen. I ended the call, then rang BT myself using the contact number from their official site. As expected, they told me they hadn’t been in touch with me recently at all!
