Received a recorded call claiming I owed £39.99 to Amazon and they would take it from my bank. I rang Amazon directly and their support confirmed they hadn’t contacted me at all. Definitely looks like a dodgy scam!

On the 29th of October 2019, I got a call from this number with a recorded voice saying my Amazon Prime was about to be charged £39.99 automatically, and if I wanted to cancel it, I should press "1". Problem is, I don’t have an Amazon Prime account at all, and of course I didn’t press anything.
