Someone rang me saying they were from Talk Talk about a problem with my broadband. They sounded Indian, which isn’t an issue, but said they were working from some fake office in London. They wanted me to visit this wc3 validation site to “demonstrate the problem,” but I kept messing about, and after a bit, they got fed up and ended the call. Since I don’t even have Talk Talk broadband, it was obviously a dodgy call.

SCAM ALERT. Some folks called pretending to be from Talk Talk, saying there was a problem with my broadband. The accents sounded Indian (nothing wrong with that), but they claimed to be working from some fake London office. They wanted me to visit a site called wc3 validation to "show the problem," which sounded fishy from the start. I played along for a bit, wasting their time until they got fed up and just ended the call. I don’t actually use Talk Talk for my broadband, so I knew straight away it was a total scam.
