I've been getting calls from this number nearly daily, and since it's unfamiliar to me, I've chosen to ignore them. I've finally decided to block it altogether.

Some PPI company was on the phone trying to convince me that I’d gotten in touch with them to make a claim via my bank, which I never did. They said they wouldn’t have my info if I hadn’t, but that’s obviously nonsense. It’s common knowledge these firms just buy our details from telcos or social networks. I told them to stop ringing me.

IT’S IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT COLD CALLING BY SALES REPRESENTATIVES OVER THE PHONE IS AGAINST CONSUMER RIGHTS LAWS. I’ve just wasted a good hour trying to track down the individual who attempted to peddle - I mean, ‘gift’ - me those so-called triple-glazed windows. Initially, these so-called ‘gifts’ were presented as complimentary, but as the conversation progressed, their worth dramatically escalated. One can only assume those windows deemed unnecessary could fetch a pretty penny in the shrewd landlord’s market. I found my patience thoroughly tested before I could even set a time for a visit from a charming salesperson who would undoubtedly try to convince me that three sheets are indeed superior to two. For several years now, I’ve managed to stave off all cold caller interruptions on my phone as well as at my doorstep. The caller? A window firm located in Neath, West Glamorgan.

Unknown number, from abroad, rang our landline but it was a private home number.

This number has rung me loads. I picked up about 5 times but they just ended the call every time. The 6th time I said I wasn't interested in PPI, but they kept me chatting for like 5 minutes before I had to hang up. Then they called again the very next day. I've blocked the number now.

Phone rang at 16:26, told them I was busy at work and asked to ring later. Didn't even wait to hear who they were. Went straight to check the number online and now it's blocked. I get that they're just doing their job, but it's really annoying when they interrupt me during work!

this number called me on 23/03/2018 at about 10:42 am, saying i’d reached out about a ppi claim. ive never had ppi in my life. i told them to delete my details and not to ring me again. then she told me to be quiet and just hung up. i tried calling back from my home phone but the line was dead.

This number keeps ringing me up, and I'm a bloke who’s had the same phone number for nearly two decades. Each time, the caller’s asking for someone called Louise, and I tell them there’s no Louise here. I always ask them to take me off their list, and they say they will. But it never happens, and without fail, I get another call in less than a week, and the whole nonsense starts all over again.

Got a random call from a number I dunno. I picked up and just left the phone down without saying anything, and the person on the other end hung up straight away. Other websites say this number is linked to annoying PPI calls - most probably scammers.
